"Coaching is about helping people reach their full potential. If you can do that, the business will take care of itself." - Tony Robbins
As someone who's been in the coaching industry for over 20 years, both offline and online, I can tell you that it's a common struggle to let your mindset get in your own way when it comes to making scaling and growing your business.
Here are a few things that have personally held me back, and how I learned to move past them.
When I first started my online coaching business, I was excited and full of ideas.
However, I quickly found myself comparing my progress to that of other successful coaches in my niche.
This constant comparison made me feel like I wasn't doing enough, and that my efforts were insignificant compared to theirs. 😭
I became overwhelmed and struggled to make progress.
But you know what!
Everyone's journey is unique, and that success is not a race!🏃🏻♀️ So, I started focusing on my own unique strengths and the value that I could offer to my clients. I went back to my tunnel vision approach
I had building my health coaching business and that has made all the difference.
As someone who loves to learn and grow, I found myself getting lost in a sea of content about how to do everything like,
How to build a newsletter,
How to film videos and
How to become an Amazon influencer.
But at a certain point, I realized that I was consuming more than I was implementing.
So I decided to narrow down my focus on taking action on what I already know … which is A LOT!
It’s overwhelming growing your business and sometimes you don’t know where to start.
The first thing I said to myself was to create content as if nobody had ever heard it before. But in many cases, even if they have heard it before, sometimes we all need daily reminders of all these strategies.
So, I began by putting out blog content and reaching out to people online organically just to get to know them.
I made a point to avoid any "slimy DMing for dollars" tactics, as that didn't align with my values as a coach.
Once I had build traction with my blog content and online connections, the next step is to record my blog content into video trainings to help build my email list.
You have to break down the tasks into manageable steps and focusing on one thing at a time, or the feeling of overwhelm will drown you.
So I invite you to follow my growth progress as I follow my own strategy of ambitious content production which I call the Power Up 100 Plan!
You’ll be seeing more and more of this strategy unfold as I build it out and I look forward to your feedback all along the way.
